So, the Easter Basket tradition continued, as the boys have always received new swim suits and summer time accessories from the Easter Bunny.
But what about the Easter Egg Hunt?
Well, Rick had never understood the tradition of hiding easter eggs outside. His family tradition was a candy hunt indoors. He reluctantly went along with my traditions for 15 years (even after the first Easter disaster when birds swooped down and pecked holes into all of our hidden eggs). So this year we decided to switch things up and give his family tradition a whirl. And the candy searching frenzy began......
Dieing Easter Eggs?
The day before Easter, Trevor changed his mind and decided he DID still want to die eggs. So Easter morning (after the candy hunt) we died eggs, eating half of them during the process :) So glad Trevor changed his mind!
