Halloween

For Halloween we stayed home with good friends.  Traditionally the women stay at my house sipping wine and passing our candy, while the men take all the kids trick-or-treating. This year was a little different as all the kiddos have different interests with their varying ages.  There was a small group of trick-or-treaters, there was a group that preferred to stay back and scare the children who came looking for candy, and the third group followed high school girls around the neighborhood.  It was a little chaotic and strange.  I have already decided that next year, we set up outside with a firepit and wine and watch it all unfold however it unfolds....
