Although Cameron did not qualify to run the mile in the Jr. Olympics, he made the top 8! He ran his heart out against a group of boys much older and BIGGER than he was! He was a nervous wreck all morning, but, ran a great race! We are very proud of him!
The relay race was INTENSE! We needed to make the top 3 in order to go to the Jr. Olympic Finals in Nebraska. The team battled for 3rd the entire race with another team from Pleasanton. Both teams wanted that third place spot and fought the entire 9 minutes and 37 seconds - our fastest team time yet!
