The boys spent hours in the (COLD) ocean boogie boarding, body surfing, and skin boarding. Anthony and Nick were the first ones in and the last ones out every day. Anthony was in the ocean by 8:30 in the morning!
On the beach the boys kept busy building bunkers, playing nerf dart tag, searching for treasure with the metal detector, playing beach football, and taking long walks. We collected more sea glass than ever before! We even found a beautiful container in Capitola to display some of the sea glass at home as a momento.
One day, the boys created a "shrine" in which they mounted a pair of underwear. First, Dylan tried to remove his boxers on the beach without removing his shorts. When that didn't work, they sent Trevor to the trailer for a pair of his. They sat around the "shrine" chatting and admiring their work.
