Our second week of Florida was just as busy and exciting as the first. We went to Busch Gardens where Cameron, our animal lover, got to go on a special safari ride up close to the animals. Mom went with him. At times, it was too close for comfort!
Dad and Uncle Jason got to ride in real Nascar cars at the Richard Petty Driving School! They first took a class, then rode with a driver. Ultimately, they got to ride around the track on their own as fast as they wanted. Mom was glad she missed it!
We toured the Grand Floridian Hotel where we spent our honeymoon 15 years earlier. We even took our picture at the same locations that we posed for on our honeymoon. I must say we look quite a bit older now!
We ate and ate and ate while in Florida. We found a delicious steak and sea food restaurant in Downtown Disney. It was so good we went back twice! At the end of the week Cameron said, "I don't think I can look at another steak!"
It truly was the ULTIMATE VACATION!
